Who should pay the Levy?

The Bali Levy, which is a tourism tax, should be paid by all international visitors to Bali. This includes:
1. International travellers coming to Bali, regardless of whether they arrive directly from another country or from another province within Indonesia.
2. The levy applies to each person per entry into Bali, which means every time you enter Bali, the levy is applicable.
3. This includes adults and children; there are no age exemptions mentioned, meaning everyone, regardless of age, is expected to contribute the levy.

Are there any exemptions?

Certain categories of visitors are exempt from this levy:
• Holders of Diplomatic Visas and Official Visas.
• Crew members of conveyances (e.g., airlines, ships).
• KITAS (temporary stay permit) & KITAP (permanent stay permit) holders.
• Family unification visa holders.
• Student Visa Holders.
• Golden Visa Holders and other Visas (after applying for receiving approval through the site but no need to pay Bali Tourism Levy).
